Hah, first I didn't think that the song fit in the melody and instruments, but after it got a little more complexity, I started to enjoy it.

It's not a complicated melody, there are about 4 patterns? And a simple melody, this melody would fit in a menu of a spacegame I think...

At first...

First I wanted to give you a 7/10 and 3/5 for the level of complexity of the melody.
But then I saw "I like how this song brings a felling of despair as you cross a planet that has been utterly destroyed." That's really really good, when you feel something yourself while you listen to a melody you created, then you have my respect.

Knocked it up a notch 8/10 and 4/5

This music kinda reminds me of Mylene Farmer.

I can almost hear the vocals when I listen to the song.

There was nothing really bad, but I've heard similar melodies, because of that 9/10.

I would say the melody is not bad, but it's really repetitive...
It's the same over and over again...
Work on that, and it'll become a very good piece :)

Not really exciting :(

It's nothing really exciting, there are only drums, and a little of other sounds...
It's just not enough :(
It just doesn't feel ready yet...
However, imo it's a good start, so I give you 6/10 and 3/5

Hehe, I'm not a huge fan of rave melodies, but it actually made me kinda happy when I listened to it.
The 9 thus because I just don't really like loud shredding melodies.
I must say, I love what you did there after 50 seconds =D
B'aah, the whole melody actually rocks :)
